Activities/Attractions: Rice Lake is easy to find ... about 90 minutes east of Toronto or west of Kingston. At over 18 miles long and over a mile wide, it’s not just a puddle! Located immediately north of Lake Ontario (about half way along), between the city of Peterborough to the north and the town of Cobourg on the lake Ontario shore - access is from Hwy. 401, a major highway which runs from the U.S./Canada border at Detroit to the Ontario/Quebec border on the east. American visitors can easily reach Hwy. 401 at any major border crossing.
Rice Lake offers activities for the entire family! Relax along the shore and catch the early morning mist; cast your bait into the lake anticipating that fish strike; hike the many trails in the nearby forests; go golfing; visit the historic towns nearby; or just take in the natural beauty of Rice Lake. The Rice Lake area offers great opportunities for anglers, naturalists, hikers, and water sports enthusiasts.

We offer clean, well maintained, self catering Cottage Rentals for your family vacation. Come and relax at the waterfront and take in some great Fishing ... walleye, bass, muskie, carp, perch or blue gill. Bring your own boat or rent ours. Fish cleaning station and freezer is located close to the docks. We even have a Recreation Hall - a suitable location for your family reunion or country wedding! Cottage and site features include:

It is separate from the main cluster of summer seasonal cottages and has a fully equipped kitchen and four-piece bathroom. TV and VCR also provided. Available year round. Close to skidoo and cross country ski trails.
The Trailer also includes air conditioning, a waterfront location and front deck.
