Activities/Attractions: Umbria is known as the "Green Heart" of Italy and has preserved it's nature, old villages and cities from the middle ages. Almost all cities in Umbria and even Rome can be reached by car in one hour. You can easily reach Rome by train if you do not wish to drive.
There is so much to discover and I am here to help you! Calvi itself is worth a good visit. You reach Calvi taking the highway A1, which runs north-south through Italy. Exit at Magliano Sabina and take a left for 1 km and at the end of the road, turn right and follow the San Martino signs.
On our 64 ha property, we cultivate wheat, olive groves, vineyards, fruit trees and of course a kitchen garden. We produce a prize winning wine, named "Carbio", that can be bought at the social wine cellar for a good price.
In the area you have a good choice of restaurants, if you would like to taste some local food. In our hacienda we have, horse breeding, some chickens and two big, white, Italian sheep dogs.

General Information: The Casale San Martino, in Umbria, Italy, contains 4 apartments and is situated on the top of a hill, a lucky location the local people say. There is a huge garden surrounding the farm house with an expansive lawn and trees, all very green and peaceful.
We are 400 m above sea level with a 360° degree panorama over hills and valleys. Looking to the east, you can see the Preappenini Mountains. All apartments are well furnished with antique family furniture. In the garden there is a swimming pool, barbecues and a large playground for the children.
Il Terrazzo on the first floor, has two bedrooms,
one with a double bed and one with a double bed and two singles,
full kitchen, bathroom and a large terrace with garden
furniture.
Il Pino on the first floor has a bedroom with a
double bed, bathroom, living room with two single beds that become
sofas during the day, fireplace, kitchen and a private
garden.
Il Leccio on the ground floor has a bedroom with
two single beds, bath room, large living room with a double bunk
bed, wall kitchen and a very spacious private garden.
Il Cipresso on the ground floor has a bedroom
with a double bed, small kitchen, bathroom and a private
garden.
