General Information: Welcome to Willow Springs Guest Ranch ... where our goal for our lodging was to provide comfort with a decidedly Western flavor. Willow Springs is not just a dude ranch ... we operate a real working cattle operation. The stock is moved from pasture to pasture, from lower meadows to those at a higher elevation. If you happen to be here during one of the times of transition you are welcome to join in. Riding behind a herd of cows with their babies trotting along side is peaceful ranch work. Rustic cabins are duplex style; each unit has:
There is a sun porch that runs the full length of the cabin with plenty of chairs for “settin’ a spell.” Those who wish to stay longer can sample our “campfire cuisine.” From your chair on the front porch you will be able to see Fremont National Forest, rim rocks and meadows. What you won’t see is gridlock, smog, hoards of people, the crush of urban life. Notice the lantern AND the electric lamp? Willow Springs is a Guest Ranch that provides “home-grown” electricity in the form of solar, wind and generator power. Electricity is provided for a time each evening, after which guests may use lanterns if they wish to stay up after lights out. It is a unique lifestyle that is simple, yet comfortable and is able to provide creature comforts along with a taste of pioneer living. Payment Accepted: Visa, MasterCard. Rates: (Prices quoted in US Dollars) $115/night/double Bed and Breakfast guests will be served a hearty morning meal that is included in the lodging costs. |
