Outside Le Prieuré, walk through cobbled streets to the Chateau, the Auberge restaurant nearby, which specializes in regional Perigordine cuisine, or to the lower village, Notre Dame, with its superb medieval church.

Leave the village and follow miles of well marked paths through countryside dotted with ancient farms and houses, sunflower fields, local people having joyful lunches outside on sun-drenched terraces and other medieval bastide villages, with shops and outdoor markets just waiting to be explored.

• Large luxurious suites or apartments with accompanying bathrooms, some with Jacuzzi baths. The linens are of the finest quality; the decoration superb, with antiques complementing luxurious French décor.
  
• A special welcome basket includes a fine wine and products from the region. We also include aromatherapy essentials for a relaxing welcome bath.
  
• Tea and cafetiere coffee making facilities are provided in each room, and each room has a separate dining area for guests who prefer to have dinner and breakfast in their rooms.
  
• European king-size beds or twins are available. Each room is exceptionally large and has a separate sitting area. Some rooms have outside doors, as well as internal.
