Breakfast was served at a 15 foot long table in the great room, facing an enormous hooded fireplace that made me wish it were November, rather than Aug., so we could have enjoyed the glow. Dinners, cooked by Roberto and Sylvie, the owners, were simple but elegant and served at another impressive table under an arbor on the patio. Views of the Tuscan hillsides were amazing. We used this as a base for exploring Cortona, Arezzo, San Gim and Siena." |
