Activities/Attractions: Negril is the main resort area on Jamaica's west coast, and extends from the nineteenth-century Negril Lighthouse in the parish of Westmoreland in the south, to Bloody Bay in Hanover Parish in the north.

Negril is very popular and has grown rapidly in recent years. "This is a beautiful spot on Negril's seven mile beach! We have stayed many times over the years, our daughter just about grew up here. We tried to go twice a year. She is now out of college and just about on her own. The folks there always remember us! Great owners and staff. We soon be back!"

Awesome Kuyaba restaurant, Jungle night club are at a walking distance. Everything you want to do is available right from the back of the hotel on the beach.  I would certainly stay there again."

"We had our wedding and honeymoon at the Charela and had a fantastic time. The food in the restaurant was wonderfully fresh and appetizing. The prices were perfect for what we got. Our wedding was right on the beach in front of the Charela with everyone to see. Also since it was our wedding, the hotel restaurant baked our cupcake wedding cake and they where all so very hospitable and accommodating during our entire stay. We had a wonderful time."
