Activities/Attractions: St. Vincent and the Grenadines is situated near the southern end of the Caribbean island chain. It is an archipelago of islands, St. Vincent being the largest with the smaller comprising of Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Mayreau, Union island, Palm island, Petite St. Vincent and a number of smaller islets. St. Vincent has been blessed with lush mountains, volcanic-rich soil and unspoilt landscapes of brilliant flora. Our attractions include:

• the Botanic Gardens, the oldest in the Western Hemisphere, and a favorite stop for visitors
  
• Fort Charlotte, the largest fortification in the state. The fort stands on a ridge 600 feet above sea level giving a magnificent and unobstructed view of Kingstown and the Grenadines
  
• La Soufriere is perhaps the most spectacular of the active volcanoes in the Caribbean and particularly attractive to persons interested in Adventure/Eco-Tourism
  
• The Vermont nature trails is 9 miles from Kingstown and leads through tropical rain forests where there is a chance of seeing (or hearing) the St. Vincent parrot (Amazona Guildingi) and the Whistling  Warbler, both unique to St. Vincent
  
• This is also the habitat of the Black Hawk, Cocoa Thrush, Crested Hummingbird, Green Heron and several other interesting species
  

We can arrange a visit to the Botanical Gardens located on 20 beautifully landscaped acres and overlooked by the Governor General's home. It is the oldest botanic garden in the Western Hemisphere, started in 1765, home to several rare and indigenous Vincentian parrots, and there is a special breeding program underway to increase their numbers. These colorful little birds dwell no where else but in the Vincentian rain forest, and are an endangered species.

Other tours can take you into the mountains and through the verdant rainforest. An experienced Trail Guide will inform you about our Historical Sites, Nature and Wildlife. You can visit the volcano at the northern tip of the island. Nearby is the famous Falls of Baleine. St. Vincent is an ecotourist's paradise. Visitors can enjoy unspoiled wilderness and native flora and fauna in areas set aside as historical interest. Stargazing is extraordinary!

"I recently visited St. Vincent and had the pleasure of being a guest at Rich View Guesthouse. This hotel/ B&B was great. As a female traveling alone I was really drawn to the free airport pick-up because I didn’t want the hassle of trying to figure out which mode of transportation would be safer upon arrival. I was very pleased with the room and the great view of Bequia from my balcony and couldn’t wait until morning. Breakfast felt like a family reunion. The staff was so friendly. I  would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to St. Vincent."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Rich View Guesthouse. I was very well looked after while I was there and I felt very comfortable there. It is situated in a safe area in between the airport and Kingstown. There is great access to the airport, is not too far from Kingstown and the tourist area of Villa/Indian Bay. There is a lovely view from the balconies out from Sion Bay to Bequia, the small beach and the ocean. Michael, the owner is a fantastic person and made my stay and a couple I met there, wonderful. He definitely went beyond the call of duty. The 2 front of house staff are very friendly and helpful too."
