• For the shopper: Anna Maria offers many different kinds of quaint beach shops, gift and dress shops. No car required - our free island trolley can easily transport you all over the island! For more "extensive" shopping, two outlet malls are located by I-75
  
• For the whole family: Theme parks are located within two hours from Anna Maria. Spend a day at Disney World, Busch Gardens, Cypress Gardens, Mote Marine or Sarasota Jungle Gardens - they're too numerous to list! Museums, botanical gardens, state parks abound and make great day trips. During February and March, see the Pittsburgh Pirates play at McKechnie Fields in Bradenton
  

• For the golfer: The Manatee and Sarasota area offers close to 50 courses - from executive par threes to challenging championship 18 hole courses

General Information: Welcome to Island Vacation Properties, LLC ... founded in July, 2000 by Ann Caron, a real estate broker with fourteen years of property management experience on Anna Maria Island. It was Ann's firm belief that by providing unique services otherwise unavailable to property owners and guests, Island Vacation Properties would fill a void desperately needed in the marketplace. By focusing on ethical behavior and quality service, she knew that a competitive advantage was attainable.

Ed Kirn, an enthusiastic and energetic Island colleague, joined Ann in officially opening the office on July 14, 2000. Ed operated a successful business on the island for over ten years and was well thought of by everyone he dealt with. Starting with less than forty rentals in mid 2000, we have today numbered 275 properties, making us one of the top rental offices on Anna Maria Island.
