Activities/Attractions: Port Burwell is a community on the north shore of Lake Erie, in the municipality of Bayham in Elgin County, Ontario. During the summer time, it is a great place to eat Lake Erie Perch, ice cream and go swimming at the beach.
Port Burwell is well known for its restaurants serving freshly caught perch and pickerel dinners. With a population of just over 1000 residents, Port Burwell is a quiet place to spend time in with beautiful sunny, hot days of July and August attracting sun worshippers, fishermen and boaters to its beautiful sandy beaches.
Port Burwell is one of the oldest wooden lighthouses in Canada. A climb to the top provides captivating views of the countryside, the lake and the village. The building opposite the lighthouse houses the marine museum with nautical artefacts and marine exhibits depicting early village life. Enjoy in the area:

General Information: Welcome to our Lake Erie Cottage Retreat ... about 2½ hours south west of Toronto in Port Burwell, Ontario. This sweet self contained cottage is on a secluded hobby farm overlooking Lake Erie.
It's the perfect spot for a family vacation or as a retreat for bird watchers, nature enthusiasts, artists or writers and there's access to a private beach and Organic produce is available nearby. Cottage features include:
