Activities/Attractions: Sicily, the largest and beautiful island in the Mediterranean Sea, is one of the most interesting and, as yet, undeveloped tourist destinations. Sun, clear blue sea and unspoilt beaches are the natural attractions of an island steeped in history and culture, celebrated throughout the centuries by writers and poets, who have spread its fame from ancient times up to the present.

Sciacca Therme is an ancient and peaceful town with its thermal baths and fishing port. Founded in the 7th century BC by the Selinuntini which made it into their health resort, in the middle ages it was transformed into a flourishing industrial and commercial centre.

Looking out to sea and dominated by Mount San Calogero on its eastern side, Sciacca is the oldest thermal resort of Sicily and one of the biggest towns on the southwestern coast. The renowned Natural Steam Vents of San Calogero are 7 km away from the town.

General Information: Welcome to Casale Galati ... our beautiful holiday home located on the hills of Sciacca in Sicily, Italy. The secluded grand villa was once a family home and has recently been converted into apartments but still has a family feel to it and you can find some antique pictures belonging to the family.

The vacation rental apartments are extremely quiet and peaceful with stunning picturesque views of both the rolling countryside, filled with beautiful vineyards, and the Mediterranean sea. On the ground floor of our large villa we have three brand new self catering apartments. Tramontana, Scirocco and Maestrale are all bright and airy with all the modern amenities, including:

The home was modelled on the Roman Villa Rustica style, being square with a central courtyard. The present house dates from the 1970s and maintains the attractive rustic style. With its elevated position on a hill dominating the valley it offers superb views of sea and mountain as far as the eye can see.
