Activities/Attractions: The Port Loring area is located north of Parry Sound and south of North Bay, with over 30 lakes and rivers that are home to Bass, Pike and Walleye and high numbers of white tailed deer that can make your vacation a picture perfect one.

Around Port Loring, Ontario is a string of small and enchanting communities; Bear Valley, Golden Valley, Arnstein, and Loring ... and together they share with the visitor a warm sense of community and an image of true country charm. The area itself is sprinkled with a wealth of fresh water lakes and awe-inspiring countryside, offering excellent hunting and fishing.

All of the area communities are on the Ontario Federation Snowmobile Trail System, and that offers over 320 kilometers of pure winter enjoyment, on constantly groomed trails.  This particular area is also a snowmobile crossroads, connecting many of the larger populated centers around.  You may also want to 'Park and Ride' the Clover Leaf system for a full five days of banner trail riding.

General Information: Welcome to White Birches Cottages and Camping, a vacation paradise only 4 hours north of Toronto ... our lovely resort is situated on a peninsula between Wilson Lake and Pigeon Lake, Ontario - one of a chain of 3 beautiful lakes on the Pickerel River System. We offer electrically heated housekeeping cottages, park model trailers, camping cabins, RV and tent sites, group camping and outpost cottages, we have it all!

All Rental Trailers and Cottages have full housekeeping facilities, electric heat and air, 3 or 4 piece baths, microwaves, satellite TV, propane BBQ's and lovely decks. We supply all bed linens. As well, we have well maintained boats, motors and docks, great fishing on local and inland lakes, laundromat, sauna, recreation room, children's playground, beaches, secluded picnic areas & forest trails.

• Our 8 cottages all have picture windows overlooking beautiful Wilson Lake, and the docking and swimming areas
  
• Our 4 park models are on grassy RV sites, and look over Pigeon Lake where we have docking, swimming and lovely picnic areas. All have central air
  
• We have 2 camping cabins in the tenting area. Both have beds and a 3 piece unit with 2 burner stove, small fridge, and sink with cold running water. Dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils are supplied.  Neither has an inside bathroom, and no bedding is provided
  
• We rent aluminum and fibre glass boats and well maintained motors. We have ample docking for guest's private boats and a good boat launch
  
• We have renovated an old barn which was part of our property and here we have a recreation room for friendly get together, meetings, birthday parties or weddings
  
• Our new fish cleaning facility - "The Liar's Club" - is currently located where fishermen gather frequently to discuss their day's catch ... "And the one's that got away!"
  
• The Julius Lake cabin is on a picturesque lake close to a river with forest trails, beautiful water rapids and excellent bass fishing
  
• Our Long Lake Outpost cottage is in the heart of the Georgian Bay Park Area ... with great fishing and numerous fishing lakes to explore
  

• To reach our outpost we transport our guests by barge and then across a portage ... some say the trip is worth the vacation
