Joggers, roller-bladers and dog walkers take their sport along the wide promenade while one block back, the Main Road provides restaurants, take-aways and shops. Prior to the V&A Waterfront’s existence, Sea Point was the evening hot spot. Sea Point has one or two small sandy coves but the coastline is mostly rocky with deep kelp seaweed beds. It has a couple of tidal pools, one of which is totally secluded and exclusively male. Nearby, closer to the Waterfront, is the famous square red and white lighthouse, one of the oldest lighthouses in the country. Situated in the heart of Sea Point, we are ideally located for all the main tourist attractions and for the businessman, we are but a few minutes from the Cape Town International Convention Centre and the commercial hub of the City. Further afield the many other activities include:
"Great location at Sea Point for city, V&A and local tourist destinations ... Accommodation new and modern with walk in shower and flat TV. Cosy sun bed terrace and clean salt water pool. Breakfast catered for every need and could be eaten outside on the patio served by the owners Frank and Simon who made our stay comfortable and relaxing. Great place to stay. I would recommend Loloho Lodge for business or pleasure and will definitely return on our next visit to Cape Town." "I have just spent 2 weeks staying in Loloho Lodge. It was my first visit to Cape Town and the owners, Frank and Simon, couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. Marvellous to be met at the airport! They are a fountain of information, well able to give advice about Cape Town and the surrounding areas. The rooms are a very good size, well furnished and clean. The pool, garden and patio provide a great space for relaxation. I for one will be back!" |

Loloho just opened a few months ago; e.g. that everything is new, well cared and maintained. We had a lovely room with an excellent queen-size bed, Flat-TV, a walk-in shower ... interesting for a techi like me, you have got very fast cable internet and each room hast its own security system, although we didn't face any kind of crime in the area during our stay. Breakfast was either taken on the terrace or the big table in the dining room and provided everything we liked, especially the fruit salad. Personally, we loved the saltwater pool, which was absolutely clean and the sunbeds. All in all, we think a great new addition to Cape Town's guesthouse scene. Next time in Cape Town, we will stay there again." "A very nice establishment with nice owners. I will definitely spread the word. It is well situated and homey. If I didn't have some places to go to in Cape Town, I would have stayed indoors, and still enjoyed. I intend to make a turn in December." |
