Midland is one of Ontario's historically significant resort destinations dating back to Samuel de Champlain's exploration of Georgian Bay in 1615. Most recently the town of Midland was awarded "Winner" of the Community in Bloom (towns under 20,000 population) contest.
Midland is a town of picturesque beauty with a history that dates back to the time of the Jesuits, who were the first Europeans to view this beautiful area, and the Huron people who have proudly allowed our area to bear their name. We are centrally located to all seasons recreational activities:

We are situated on just over 47 acres, featuring nature trails for walking or cross-country skiing and ever expanding perennial gardens and pathways perfect for a stroll. We are just 8 minutes from the Mt. St. Louis Nordic Ski Resort.
Bluebird Meadows Bed and Breakfast provides year round, vacation accommodations in the heart of Huronia and Southern Georgian Bay ... minutes from Wye Marsh, Tiny Marsh, and the Provincial Copeland Forest Preserve providing wilderness trails, hiking, ecotourism, canoeing, cycling, skiing, snowshoeing, nature trails and bird watching.
Our private guest wing and entrance makes for a relaxing come as you please stay, with an inn like ambiance. The dining room’s main feature is the huge hand crafted Mennonite oak table and chairs that occupies the center of the room, it seats eight to ten guests and easily accommodates our three course country breakfasts

The guest lounge has French doors that lead to a spacious deck and the outdoor hot-tub. A great place to read a book, watch the birds at the feeders, play a board game or just curl up beside the cozy gas fireplace. This room also features satellite TV with a large array of channels including the movie network

The guest deck and hot-tub are for the exclusive use for our guests. Towels for the hot-tub are located in a basket in the guest common room. White terry robes and slippers are provided during your stay and are perfect for wearing out to the Jacuzzi

Off the guest lounge is our one of a kind fitness room; whether it be a full body workout, or if you are just isolating muscle groups, our exercise room has all the basics to get the job done

Burgandy Room is decorated in the traditional style, with solid
oak furniture. This room offers a king size bed with luxurious linens.
The
Brass Room's focal
point is its huge queen size brass bed. It’s handmade quilt and deluxe
linens add to that country touch.
The
Blue Room is bright and spacious and decorated in country blue
and white toile. It can be arranged with either king and a twin beds or it
can be set up with four twins.
