Activities/Attractions: No matter whether you spend your day at one of the beautiful sand beaches - or explore the environment - the eastern Costa del Sol offers something for every taste. The finest festivals you will have opportunity to see are the Easter festivals, one week before Easter, or other Ferias. Experience a fiery Flamenco and be enchanted by the Andalusian temper. We have a lot of tips, showing you many still unknown Andalusian secrets.

• Visit the white villages with their narrow and bent lanes and take a sherry and some Tapas
  
• Discover bizarre rock landscapes with hidden waterfalls or go with your hire car to explore endless plains with Olives and almond trees
  
• Visiting the Alhambra in Granada or the old towns of Malaga and Seville is a must
  
• The Spanish feudal age is best viewed at "Puerto-Banus" or Benalmadena ... probably the most beautiful sports port in Europe
  
• Nerja and Torre Del Mar fascinate with the busy beach life. The caves of NERJA are famous and worth visiting, especially on hot summer days
  
• Nearly every week in the Axarquia there is a celebration, e.g. thanksgiving days for various crops like figs, grapes, avocados
  
• When you feel like horseback riding, there is a horse stable not far away with a very attractive program
  
• Another Highlight is a walk in the nearby river "Rio Chillar". You can walk for hours and feel like Indiana Jones. Swimming, waterfalls, and a nice Picnic is the perfect combination for a hot day. Don't forget to bring some old sport shoes or sandals
  

• For hikers and nature lover is the natural park "El Torcal" a must. The scenery is like on the moon. Walks from one to several hours

General Information: Welcome to Finca Huerta Tropical and "feel the taste of Andalucia". Our  B&B is situated in the "heart" of the Axarquia (east Costa del Sol), near the old town of Velez-Malaga. Malaga airport is about 45 kilometres away and the coastal town of Torre Del Mar, with its beaches, can be reached in approximately 15 minutes. We are a Swiss/Finnish couple and are glad to introduce you to this beautiful part of  Andalucia. We regularly travelled in this area for over 20 years and finally our dream came true and we had the chance to open this beautiful B&B.

Together we speak seven languages, so we never should have any communication problems. We would like to make your precious time with us your best time of  the year. Enjoy your stay at our plantation where we cultivate mangos, peaches, figs and some lemons on the basis of ecological criteria. Enjoy wonderful views over the valley of the Rio Velez and the Mediterranean from our terraces, poolside or on a hammock and recover from the hustle of everyday life.

• Our 7,800² metre large, terraced property is situated 200 metres up a hill, surrounded by almonds, olives trees and vineyards
  
• Our Finca is covered with wireless access to the Internet, free for our guests
  
• Our B&B was built in the year 2002 in the Andalusian architectural style in form of an old farmstead
  
• Altogether we have four spacious guestrooms
  
• All with bath en suite (shower and WC)
  
• The rooms are coloured differently and decorated individually

• Two armchairs and a double bed in each room

Visiting one of the numerous Bars and fish restaurants near the place is a must. Nevertheless we also like to cook from time to time dinner on request. We are pleased to offer you our own versatile and uncomplicated cuisine. Drinks and snacks are available in self service around the clock.
