In her winter slumber, some say it's the best time to visit Bournemouth ... the scenery is stunning in its autumn and winter colours and the bright clear sky - crisp mornings and bright sunsets, are stunning by the ocean.

Bournemouth even caters for the naturist, with Britain's finest and certainly most beautiful naturist beach at Studland, and on a sunny day there is nowhere more beautiful.

Christchurch, the ancient town with a 1,000 year old priory, is just a 20 minute drive away and is a wonderful place to feed the swans, visit the ancient priory or walk over Hengisbury Head and hunt for fossils.

The New Forrest is just a 20 minute drive from Hamilton Hall and affords miles and miles of deep dark forest  hiding small villages and ancient towns with mythical histories of witches and pagan rites.  Deer, ponies and many wild animals live here and  it is easy to find solitude on a summers day.
