Activities/Attractions: Now best known for its world-class ski resort, Breckenridge Colorado, the oldest and largest Colorado town in high-altitude Summit County, also affords a rich mining and frontier history that's been diligently protected by Breckenridge locals. In fact, the town's 254-building National Historic District is one of the largest in Colorado. The Summit Historical Society regularly shows off seven historic sites on their 12-block public walking tour of downtown Breckenridge.
Breckenridge has a wide variety of excellent restaurants, and a wide variety of activities including ice skating, cross country skiing (near our home), just to name a few. You ski down to any of the major lifts on Peak Eight, and we have a private trail directly into our back door, right off of Trygves Run.
Skiers rave about the massive, yet accessible four-mountain resort at Breckenridge, where 2,043 acres of ski runs practically bump into town, offering both families and expert skiers something to slide down.
In the summer, Colorado sport enthusiasts should try the Jack Nicklaus-designed public golf course or explore the 100 miles of paved biking trails leading to Keystone, Frisco, or Vail. Enjoy:

General Information: Welcome to our true ski-in/ski-out custom log home in Breckenridge, Colorado ... located on over half an acre, 5 minutes above the town of Breckenridge, above the base of Peak Eight, adjacent to Trygves Run. Our home backs up to over a thousand acres of National Forest (the Breckenridge Ski Area). Trygves Run is also where lessons are offered for beginners, and a great place to sled after skiing. We find it easier to come home for lunch than to eat at any of the restaurants.
We have a private trail directly into our back door, right off of Trygves Run easily accessible for all ages and levels of skiers. No cars needed for going to and from the lifts here! We have:
