Activities/Attractions: Ciovo is an island in the central Dalmatian archipelago; area 28.8 sq km (length 15.3 km, width up to 3.5 km); population 6,071; highest peak Rudine (218 m). In the east, Ciovo is about 2 km away from the mainland (Cape Marjan); in the north-west it is connected with the mainland by a bascule bridge (in Trogir).
The island of Ciovo actually encloses the Kastela Gulf. Ciovo offers a variety of things to do and is a great central base from which to embark on exciting day trips such as:
- exploring ancient Trogir
- taking a ferry boat to a surrounding
island
- diving on a coral reef
- partaking in other aquatic adventures
- driving down the scenic coast to Makarska
- visiting Krka National Park
- venturing out to one of the many wonderful
vineyards
The town centre of Okrug Gornji takes only 10 minutes by foot and provides supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, a post office, a hairdresser and a bakery. The local bus stop is only 5 minutes by foot and has buses that run hourly to Trogir.
Trogir is reputedly the most picturesque town on the Dalmatian Coast and a Unesco Heritage site. Nestled within a pretty harbour Trogir boasts a world class marina, beautiful buildings, a medieval fort, a beautiful cathedral and plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. The distance from Villa Kairos to Trogir is 3.5km (5 minute drive), Split Airport 10km (15 minute drive), and Split 30km (45 minute drive).

"Finnish friend gathered here for a kind of class reunion. It was the class of ’60-’63 at Kaleva High School in Tampere. What a reunion it was! We enjoyed laying on the terrific sun lounges watching the world go by, long dinners under the moon and stars, a lot of talk, early morning dips in the Adriatic and long breakfasts at a leisurely pace ... like this morning when I’m writing this before getting ready for a match of tennis. (And then have to remember to feed the fish). Tomorrow will be a different morning. All this will come to an end. Jasmina who has taken such good care of us (in an angel fashion) will come and count the … and send us away from this paradise. Sadly, but with fond memories."

General Information: Villa Kairos is a luxury waterfront villa on the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia set in a sunny west-facing position and away from any traffic noise providing for a peaceful and picturesque setting. The newly refurbished and modern villa is split into three apartments with two available to rent either together or separately accommodating from two to eight people.
The grounds encompass 500sq/m of lush gardens and paved areas which give direct access to the beach as well as a private jetty. The villa is only 10km from Split airport, 3.5km from Trogir (UNESCO town), and located in Okrug Gornji on the island of Ciovo which is connected to the mainland via a drawbridge. There are many exciting day trips on which to embark from the area and you can park your vehicles securely on-site.

Prices are quoted in GBP and are for the rental of both Villa Kairos I and II together. Please contact us to obtain a quote if you wish to rent only one apartment or look on the website of Villa Kairos: www.croatian-villa.com. Prices are inclusive of all costs related to your booking including tourist tax, service charge, cleaning, unlimited internet usage and local phone calls. During July and August both Villa Kairos I and II must be rented together. A 5% discount is offered on bookings greater than one week (excluding July and August). To make a booking a 40% non-refundable deposit must be made with the balance paid six weeks prior to your arrival date. Payment can also be made in USD or Euro at the prevailing exchange rate.
