Heidelberg is a romantic city located on the Neckar River which occupies a magnificent position astride the natural gateway formed by the Konigstuhl and the Heiligenberg ("Holy Mount"). It is dominated by the mighty ruins of the castle, which for five centuries was the glittering residence of the Palatine Prince Electors. Regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in Germany, its intellectual life is stimulated by the university, the oldest in present-day Germany.

Mannheim is a city at the junction of the Rhein and Neckar rivers, the scenery is absolutely beautiful. There are many old baroque buildings, including a castle and beautiful watertower, with lighted water fountains. Mannheim has alot of parks, theaters, restaurants of all types and the unique downtown area with it's numbered and lettered city blocks arranged in a grid pattern of squares.

General Information: Welcome to A BandB - Germany ... where we cater to couples, families, or small groups touring Europe as well as those on business trips in the Heidelberg-Mannheim area. Whether this is your first visit to Germany or one of numerous journeys for you, consider staying with us.

Our residence is very centrally located 30 minutes north of Heidelberg, 45 minutes south of Frankfurt, and 20 minutes west of Mannheim. We also assist you with travel ideas, plans, car rental, other lodging arrangements and/or tour escort service. Our house is a 5 minute walk to the local train station which can take you anywhere in Europe. We treat you warmly as you are our extended family. and our large home has:

• A large, private 2-bedroom fully-equipped beautiful apartment

• Entrances are separate from the main house and offer you a quiet, comfortable atmosphere in which to rest, recoup, and regain energy
  
• We can accommodate between 1-12 people at one time as couches convert to sleepers
